Puppy Update #2

Puppy has recovered remarkably fast. She doesn't seem to have any neurological damage at all. In fact, she's shown some marked advancement over her pre-poisoned abilities. For instance, at eight weeks she's learned how to climb onto the couch, something the other puppies couldn't do, something Mum's pup still has trouble with. She was the runt, and was about two weeks behind her siblings in development. She's still extremely small but doesn't seem at all behind anymore.

She's driving mom up the wall though. She's developed an iron will. I personally think that's the natural result of fighting death and winning a reprieve. She'll put the puppy on the training pads to pee and Puppy will look at mom, step off the pad just a bit then let her rip, all the while looking at mom with this little glint in her eye.

Mum's pup is just beside herself with joy at the puppy's recovery and has devised some new cute games to play with her.

So, all is well.
