Micro/Macro Dream

and then beside it a vastly smaller

I immediately thought.... Oh! This is the Micro and the Macro dream!

She asked, "And what does YOUR Micro tell you about the Macro?"

I woke.

When I first had this dream, relatively recently, I felt my dream was asking me to look at my (individual) situation, my life, me; and to see what I could learn about the collective state ( the collective earthly experience as it is unfolding today. )

While reviewing Woman in my new blog context, I saw my dream image superimposed, and reversed on it.
instead of a large O followed by a smaller one, Woman has a smaller shape (see the sguiggle above Woman's head?) followed by a larger shape, Woman herslef.

As a person with experience in dissasociation, OBE's and IBE's (what I call Inner Body Experiences) The little squiggly mark above Woman's head has particular significance, It represents Her Essence, the part of her that is unique, indestructable, immortal. While Woman provides the Pattern, the physical, the vehical.

I created the digital image of Woman, nearly a year ago now. Since then I have noticed a certain gestault-like principle at work throughout my paintings, each of my paintings seem to represent a piece of me, an aspect, an other interpretation even. When I look at Woman I feel the antiquity of her presence, I feel the heaviness of uterine blood, I feel connected somehow to a deeper, primal self, a self all of us women share.
