Earth to America

I am inspired, touched and so hopeful after watching the show Earth to America just now.
Ge's on his way to get us a treat, and I'm just stealing a moment to crow before it slips my mind.

There is an amazing movement happening across America right now. They've decided to forego federal levels of law and are uniting together city by city, town by town, state by state to ratify an agreement to bring their emissions down to Kyoto protocol standards by 2012, even if Bush won't.

Here is the list of cities participating. Any American's reading, please check the list to see if the Mayor of your town or city has joined. If you don't find your city, please consider contacting your city hall to urge him or her to do so.
